Frequently asked questions
The ofinto Active is optionally available with a seat tilt function. What does this mean?
The seat tilt function causes the seat surface to tilt slightly forwards by around 4°. This results in the hips being in a more natural and healthier position. An inclined sitting position encourages active and dynamic sitting, which improves blood flow to the intervertebral discs and prevents back pain. Many users also find a slightly inclined sitting position more comfortable. You can find an animated illustration of the seat tilt function on the ofinto product page Active here. You can also find here a blog post on how the seat tilt function of the Active improves your sitting posture.
Is it possible to switch off the seat tilt function?
Yes, the seat tilt function can be switched on and off as needed at any time via a simple lever under the seat. If desired, the seat can therefore also be adjusted completely horizontally. In this way, the ofinto Active can be optimally adapted to your own preferences. An animated illustration of the seat tilt function and how to switch it on and off can be found on the ofinto product page Active here.
Can the ofinto Active armrests be removed?
No. The ofinto Active armrests are incorporated into the aluminum of the backrest and therefore cannot be removed.
Are the ofinto Actives wheels also suitable for hard floors such as wood or parquet?
Yes. ofinto Active has universal casters made of high-quality polyurethane (so-called PU casters). These casters are not only quiet and shock resistant but also have the ideal hardness to not cause scratches on hard floors, such as stone, parquet or laminate. Nevertheless, for safety, we recommend using a floor protection mat for particularly sensitive floors, such as antique wood floors.
What is the difference ofinto Active to ofinto Ergo?
The ofinto Active is the ergonomic office chair in a class of its own. Like the ofinto Ergo , it has all the essential ergonomic functions of a good office chair. But that's not all. In addition, the ofinto Active can be optionally extended with a sit-tilt function. This enables active, dynamic sitting, which promotes blood circulation in the spine and prevents tension.
Both ofinto ergonomic office chairs are characterized by high-quality materials. But here, too, the ofinto Active goes one step further. The underside of the backrest and the base of the ofinto Active are made of fine brushed aluminum. The cover of the backrest is made of Italian chenille yarn. This yarn is particularly comfortable, breathable and durable. These materials and the noble design make the ofinto Active a real eye-catcher.
